I’m Jane Yoo, CFP®:
Fee-only, fiduciary and independent financial advisor.

Why I’m a financial planner

Providing education and helping demystify personal finance is a rewarding challenge. Stock options and RSUs are complicated, and your stock admin or HR benefits teams can only do so much to help. At a more basic level, schools didn’t teach personal  finance for clients who grew up in the US. As a child of immigrants, I have extra compassion for my immigrant clients who are dealing with a completely new set of tax rules and retirement savings programs.

I know a lot about my clients’ lives. I’m very lucky that they trust me to help them through major transitions like changing jobs, buying homes, having children, and supporting aging parents.
